Touch Screen Pet Health Network history and mission
Pet Health Network is a private company based in Portland, Maine. It was founded in 2005 by Todd Paige, an experienced veterinary communications professional with a background in marketing and visual communication. Todd wanted to make it easier and quicker for veterinarians to convey complex medical advice to clients. He started with an idea of graphically enhancing key medical messages in exam rooms—at the point of care, where the most important conversations between veterinary staff and pet owners take place.

He shared his ideas with practitioners across the country and, with their input, forged an entire network of tools to make a dramatic difference in the way clients see, hear, understand and comply with medical advice.

The Pet Health Network system consists of:

Wall-mounted touch screens in exam rooms to explain pet disease and wellness issues via 3-D medical models, instructional home care "how to" videos, parasite life cycles, and pet health topics and more—plus the ability to email information home to review later.
Electronic forms for pre-exam pet history and in-practice pet exams
The Pet Health Network co-branded Web site, linked to individual practices, to extend medical communications and client service before and after the client visit.

The Company has fifteen professionals in sales, marketing, product development, business operations, communications and finance. Six of them have played key roles at IDEXX Laboratories, the worldwide leader in veterinary diagnostics, spanning a 20-year period.
